Such a fun movie and a great way to revive the franchise so many of these sequels mess up the originals or try too hard to do something different(cough cough* ghost busters cough cough. This had a perfect balance of stories that was overwhelming at the start but became satasfing as it continued.
I absolutely love that kid Cudi was brought in as a historical figure I used to be a big fan of his and watched his decline which made that whole bit extremely funny to me.

It's better than 2, but 2's ending was better. It's funnier than 2 and they seemed to have a blast making it - the res of the cats not so much. Like how it updated itself without PANDERING like the awful trailer suggested. The twist was kinda week but acceptable. My biggest gripes tbh were 1. the ending event wasn't really spectacular and the whole scene kind of silly. Had it been a bigger calamity it might have been better, 2. the end credits. AWFUL beyond words. Takes you right out of the movie (even if it's over) Stay past those awful credits though. Definitely a better first half then second - the movie is ALIVE when the guys are on screen and the rest of the time it's mediocre. The 2nd haf could be divided into ok and almost ok. Another positive were the ending effects - very late 80's/early 90's feel to can't beat god gave rock n roll to you. Can't. I'd be down for one more chapter that let's them go crazy again like 2 and not have to forced within the trilogy lore. Only one thing from 2's end credits they didn't call back to which they should have. Missy's 'other' marriage lol.
I really enjoyed the first two movies but this one was very boring. It lacked of the former edge of the series; it was way too sanitized and politically correct. The result is a soulless Bill and Ted with no charm and fun.
